Personal Attention & Customized Lessons
Working within a one-on-one setting, we tailor lessons to specifically address each student’s needs. We start with a complimentary consultation with our students and their parents. We use this consultation to get a feel for specific academic goals, preferred learning style and personality. The types of questions we focus on include:
- Is your child an auditory, visual or kinesthetic learner?
- Do they have trouble staying focused for extended periods of time?
- Will they respond better to a male or female Academic Coach?
Equipped with this information, we individually match each student with an appropriate Academic Coach. From the first lesson, we hone in on each student’s most effective learning style and use teaching methods that appeal to their interests. Throughout the tutoring process, we keep parents informed of progress and how they can help enhance their child’s academic experience.
