We recruit our Academic Coaches from a wide variety of sources: local universities and graduate programs, listservs, and our extensive network in the field of education. All candidates are subject to a thorough screening process that includes a phone interview, an in-person interview with lesson planning, a background check and follow-ups with references. We look for candidates that possess subject specific expertise, a passion for education and demonstrate an ability to connect with students on personal level.

Training Program
Our training program consists of flexible test prep curriculums, tutoring best practices and the latest in effective teaching strategies. Recognizing there is always room for improvement; we work with our Academic Coaches and update our training program on an ongoing basis. While we equip our Academic Coaches with tools to provide fun and effective tutoring, we also recognize every student has a unique set of needs. As such, we give our Academic Coaches the necessary autonomy to customize lessons and use their educational expertise to the fullest.
