Long Island SAT Subject Test & AP Exam Review Courses 

We are excited to once again offer our exclusive program for Long Island students to get the full review they need to succeed on the SAT II Subject and AP exams.

AP Biology Crash Course

Why take the course?
The course will review the entire AP Biology curriculum, covering all topics included in a typical high school class and incorporating practice questions throughout. Students will receive pre-prep work to prepare for the first session.

When is the course being offered?
The class will be comprised of two sessions offered on Sunday, April 29th and Sunday, May 5th from 5:45pm-9pm. The actual AP Biology exam is on Monday, May 14th.

Where is the class being held?
We are offering classes at both our Syosset (75 Jackson Avenue, 2nd Floor, Syosset) and Port Washington (110 Main Street, Port Washington) locations.

Who can take the class?
Students currently enrolled in AP Biology.
The class will be capped at 10 students.
A minimum of 5 students is required.

How much does the full course cost?
$450–this includes the two review classes, an AP Review book, and a notebook.
There are no refunds if a class is missed.

AP U.S. History Crash Course

Why take the course?

The course will review the entire AP U.S. History curriculum, covering all topics included in a typical high school class and incorporating practice questions throughout. Students will receive pre-prep work to prepare for the first session.

The class will be comprised of two sessions on Thursday, April 26th and Thursday, May 3rd from 5:45pm-9pm. The actual AP U.S. History exam is on Friday, May 11th.

Where is the class being held?
We are offering classes at our Port Washington (110 Main Street, Port Washington) location.

Who can take the class?
Students currently enrolled in AP U.S. History.
The class will be capped at 10 students.
A minimum of 5 students is required.

How much does the full course cost?
$450–this includes the two review classes, an AP Review book, and a notebook.
There are no refunds if a class is missed.

SAT II Subject Test Prep and Review Course
Biology / Math Level 2 / U.S. History

Why take the course?

The course will review all concepts frequently tested on the SAT II Subject Tests and integrate relevant practice questions throughout. Students will be assigned homework between each session and given a schedule of when in-office practice tests will be expected to be taken.

Prior to the first class, each student will take a formal initial assessment designed to assess content knowledge, establish a baseline score, and provide indicators for growth potential. This is followed by a diagnostic analytic review by the relevant department head. The analytic review will include both a written summary and follow-up phone conversation to discuss each student’s areas of need and candidacy for the class.

When are the courses being offered?

The Biology course will be offered during the following times: 
Sunday 4/15: 7-9pm
Sunday 4/22: 7-9pm
Sunday 4/29: 3:30-5:30pm* (note the time change)
Sunday 5/6: 3:30-5:30pm* (note the time change)
Sunday 5/13: 7-9pm
Sunday 5/20: 7-9pm
Sunday 5/27: 7-9pm

The Math 2 course will be offered during the following times: 
Tuesday 4/17: 7-9pm
Tuesday 4/24: 7-9pm
Tuesday 5/1: 7-9pm
Tuesday 5/8: 7-9pm
Tuesday 5/15: 7-9pm
Tuesday 5/22: 7-9pm
Tuesday 5/29: 7-9pm

The U.S. History course will be offered during the following times: 
Wednesday 5/2: 7-9pm
Wednesday 5/9: 7-9pm
Wednesday 5/16: 7-9pm
Wednesday 5/23: 7-9pm
Wednesday 5/30: 7-9pm

Where are the SAT II Subject classes being held?
All SAT II Review classes will be offered at our Port Washington (110 Main Street, Port Washington) location.

Who can take the class?
Students performing very well in their current course and/or currently enrolled in:

  • Students currently enrolled in Honors Biology or AP Biology (Bio SAT II)
  • Students currently enrolled in Honors Pre-Calculus (Math 2 SAT II)
  • Students enrolled in AP or Honors U.S. History (U.S. History SAT II)

The classes will be capped at 10 students.
A minimum of 5 students is required.

How much does the full course cost?

$750–this includes the initial assessment, diagnostic analytic review, a review book, a notebook, 2 in-office proctored and graded practice tests, and the review classes. There are no refunds if a class is missed.

Students begin by taking the initial assessment and receiving their diagnostic analytic review for $150. Based on feedback from the department head during the analytic review, the student will receive a recommendation whether to proceed with the course. If the student enrolls in the course, the $150 will be folded into the $750. The full remaining balance of $600 will be charged before the first class.
